THE PROCESS

All the beehives kept by COSAR go through the same quality production protocol and the same recording system. This way all of its activities are strictly documented. The system allows us to identify and control each lot alongside the whole process until the honey is packed in drums or jars.
Our system guarantees the quality of a healthy product, with excellent taste, color and aroma.
The use of ‘good manufacturing practices’ is a must. Our production process allows us to avoid the use of antibiotics, a fact that makes us the largest beekeepers organization of the world using such a technology nowadays.
The processing plants where honey is extracted meet all the sanitary requirements to totally guarantee the product’s quality.
Our honey is processed under the strict control of our plant operators, and under the surveillance of SENASA (National Department of Animal Health), and the National Food Institute (INAL). Any external monitoring will be most welcome.
